To report on the financials results of underwriters as well as to perform reconciliations of underwriter’s balances. This role requires an individual that is adaptable to change in a growing organisation, detail orientated and with the ability to work in a manual environment.
Preparation of income statements & balance cheers for individual underwriters; preparation of Cashbooks; preparation of journals, reporting packs & schedules for both underwriters as well as statutory reporting; reconciling claims clearing accounts & managing the Accounts Receivable Ledger thereof; performing balance sheet reconciliations; preparation of analysis & value add feedback from underwriters and assistance with audits and other related adhoc duties as required.
Grade 12/Matric; Post Matric financial qualification (diploma/certificate/degree) & a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. Advanced Excel and experience in the insurance industry essential.
